Freeform Brings Its Series To Life At NYCC 2017

Freeform brings Shadowhunters, Beyond, Siren, and Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger to life at NYCC 2017

We’ve previously reported on the exciting news that Freeform is bringing cast and creators from their hit original series Shadowhunters and Beyond to NYCC 2017 for panels and exclusive sneak peeks.  Joining them are new shows Siren and Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, both premiering on the network in upcoming months.  For more information about the panels, check out our article HERE.

From Thursday, October 5th through Sunday, October 8th, the multifaceted attraction will offer fans a way to experience their favorite and highly anticipated series.  It will be located on the corner of 37 th Street and 11 th Avenue across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.  Open to fans for free with or without a NYCC badge, it’ll be quite the experience!

Shadowhunters‘ Jade Wolf restaurant is delivering food to-go!  Continuing to act as a cover for the werewolves, it will be serving fortune cookies to fans from its take-out cart. Those lucky enough to receive a “prize” fortune will receive New York Comic Con exclusive premiums consisting of a Jade Wolf t-shirt or an exclusive poster by Marvel artist Szymon Kudranski.

Miss seeing Beyond on your television screen?  Find yourself in the iconic scene in the woods from the first season!  A 360 video booth will place fans right where Holden finds himself on multiple occasions with his supernatural abilities. This activation will offer a multimedia video fans can share on social media. After participating in the booth, you will receive an exclusive Beyond poster designed by Marvel artist Marco D’Alfonso.

**Final exhibit viewing will be 30 minutes.

The Bristol Cove Marine Research Center will showcase mermaids through a live exhibit. Fans will be treated to a tank that contains a live, swimming mermaid!  The exhibit will also feature educational information about mermaid history, anatomy and abilities.  Afterwards, each visitor will leave with an exclusive poster by Marvel artist Kirbi Fagan.

Freeform is bringing a Big Easy style pop-up bodega from New Orleans to New York Comic Con. Fans will be given a tarot card which reveals their prize under a black light. Each participant will receive a New York Comic Con exclusive premium that from one of the following: Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger t-shirt, Marvel artist Elizabeth Torque designed poster, a black and white cookie, or branded tote bag.
