Game of Thrones: “Let’s finish with a high kicking number!”

“She’s woke now guys, she’s real woke.”

The final episodes of Game of Thrones are upon us. The cast is here at San Diego Comic-Con and has taken over Hall H followed by a signing. The series is coming to a close with only a six-episode season 7, but have no doubt it will be great because WINTER IS HERE. The panel kicked off with the GoT season 7 trailer, (which we have conjured up for you below along with photos from the signing!) and then featured a Q&A from fans. From the panel, we learned some insight from the cast about what to expect in season 7. Of course, the cast was probably sworn to secrecy to not reveal much about upcoming episodes, but hey, at least we still have Jon Snow (Kit Harington), right? We do know that Cersei is ready to fight to retain her throne and everyone is choosing sides.

The Game of Thrones panel was moderated by a former cast member, and favorite, Kristian Narin or who we know better Hodor. The guests of the panel included Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Conleth Hill (Lord Varys), and Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran Stark). And as a bonus, Alfie Allen brought his dog Abby to the panel.

Winter is here for the last time, and we’ve gathered some highlights from the GoT panel!

John Bradley was asked about his character and said:

“The Citadel is his battlefield”

John Bradley said this on playing Samwell Tarly:

“He’s been an outsider since the day he was born.”

When Sophie Turner was asked about Sansa Stark now, she said:

“She’s woke now guys, she’s real woke.”

It is Comic-Con after all, so someone just had to ask about which superpower they’d want. Isaac Wright said:

“I’ve always said that if I had any superpower it would be to be ‘all knowing.’”

Let’s not forget about relationships. This is what Nathalie Emmanuel said about Missandei’s relationship with Grey Worm:

“To see them laugh together and feel something for one another is so beautiful..”

Gwendoline Christie  said this about Brienne and Catelyn Stark’s chemistry:

“Brienne’s relationship with Catelyn Stark was the first time that she realized strength in another woman.”

Liam Cunningham teased having another musical number for the finale episode:

“Let’s finish with a high kicking number!”

Now to top it all off, here’s the exclusive Game of Thrones trailer released at San Diego Comic-Con!
