Gotham & Castle Rock Set For New York Comic-Con 2017

Warner Bros. TV is bringing old and new favorites to New York Comic-Con, with FOX’s Gotham and Hulu’s Castle Rock!

In exactly a month from today, New York Comic-Con will be taking place and Warner Bros. TV is bringing several shows to the beloved convention. One of the shows that will be attending this year’s New York Comic-Con is the new Hulu series Castle Rock, from J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot Productions.

The panel for Castle Rock will be taking place on Sunday, October 8 between 3:00 – 3:40 PM at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center. Cast and executive producers will be attending the panel where they’ll debut new footage as well as host a Q&A. Hulu describes the series as follows:

“From J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Person of Interest, Fringe, Lost), best-selling author Stephen King and executive producers/writers Sam Shaw (Manhattan) and Dustin Thomason comes Hulu Original Castle Rock, a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse. Combining the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories. Castle Rock stars André Holland (Moonlight), Melanie Lynskey (Togetherness), Bill Skarsgård (IT), with Jane Levy (Suburgatory) and Sissy Spacek (Carrie).”

Castle Rock is set to premiere on Hulu in 2018.

But that’s not all as WBTV is also bringing some DC TV action, with FOX‘s Batman prequel drama Gotham which is returning for a fourth season. The DC series will hold their panel at 3:40 – 4:40 PM at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center as well. While specific cast members and executive producers will be announced at a later date, the panel will feature a special video presentation as well as a Q&A as we learn more about Season 4 of the hit DC drama.

“As Gotham’s origin story continues to unfold, the stakes will be higher than ever in season four! With the Court of Owls decimated, the aftermath of the Tetch virus crippling the city, and every (surviving) villain in Gotham’s underworld jockeying for power, Jim Gordon and the GCPD will have their hands full.   And that’s just the beginning!   What threat does Ra’s al Ghul pose, will Penguin successfully license crime, and what does Bruce Wayne’s epic season finale reveal mean for Gotham City, and his ultimate destiny?”

Gotham Season 4 will premiere at its new timeslot at Thursday nights at 8/7c, starting on September 21 at FOX.
