Marvel TV Bringing Gifted, SHIELD & Punisher To New York Comic-Con

Get ready for a Marvelous New York Comic-Con next month as Marvel TV brings The Gifted, Agents of SHIELD, and The Punisher!

If you are a big fan of Marvel Television and are going to New York Comic-Con, then get ready to have a Marvelous time there. Marvel is officially bringing three television properties to the popular convention, which is happening between October 5-8. Saturday, October 7, will be the busiest one for Marvel that day.

Starting from 2:00 – 3:15 PM, is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is set to kick-off its premiere sometime late this fall. While no cast members or producers were revealed at the time, Marvel TV president Jeph Loeb will officially be moderating the panel at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. The description teases that we’ll never-before-seen footage which hopefully means a trailer for Season 5.

“Join Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel Television, in celebrating Season Five of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., with the entire cast and executive producers as they come together at Madison Square Garden, for the very first time, with an action-packed panel, Q&A and never-before-seen footage. This is the one you’ve been waiting for!”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 will air on Friday nights at 9/8c on ABC, late this fall.

Later that day, we’ll be getting some Netflix action from Marvel TV as Jon Berthanl and the cast of The Punisher will take the stage from 5:15 – 6:15 PM. This will most likely be where we finally get the official release date for Season 1 as well as some new footage.

“Join Jon Bernthal and the cast of Netflix’s hotly-anticipated original series, Marvel’s The Punisher, for a must-see panel and exclusive first look at the upcoming season, launching globally on the streaming service later this year. From executive producer and showrunner Steve Lightfoot, and executive producers Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory, Marvel’s The Punisher follows Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), a man who, after exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Jeph will moderate the can’t-miss Q&A. Visit the NYCC online program for more details. “

The Punisher is set to release its first season exclusively on Netflix sometime this fall.

Last, but definitely not the least we have FOX’s highly anticipated X-Men television series The Gifted on Sunday, October 8. Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Jamie Chung are confirmed to attend the panel with several executive producers at Main Stage 1D from 2:45 – 3:45 PM. The panel description teases that exclusive footage from the second episode will be shown during the panel.
“From 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, “The Gifted” tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.  Executive-produced by Matt Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory and Len Wiseman. Join series stars and producers for an exclusive first-look of the second episode from the fall’s critically acclaimed new family adventure series which airs Mondays on FOX.”
The Gifted premieres Monday, October 2 at 9/8c on FOX.
