Mattel Offers Up Some San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusives

Mattel announces exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con

If you’ve ever attended a comic con, or at the very least were ever a child, chances are you’ve played with or saw a toy made by Mattel. Guess what? Mattel has recently announced a few exclusives for this year’s San Diego Comic-con. Fans will be eager to learn that there will be a presale for several of these exclusives. The pre-sale will be relegated for on-site pick-up and there is a limit of 3 items per customer. The hours and location for pick-up are:

Torrey Pines rooms at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina (333 West Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA 92101): July 20 – July 22, 2017, 7AM-12PM or 1PM-7PM.

Mattel is offering a 12″ DC Super Hero Girls two-pack featuring Wonder Woman and Cheetah. Wonder Woman has her tiara, lasso, etc. while Cheetah comes with her cell phone. The two-pack will retail for $45, and is available for pre-sale through Mattel’s online shop on Monday, June 19 to pick-up on-site at the convention center. Additionally, Mattel has added a $25 Hot Wheels 2017 Justice League Batmobile. The vehicle includes a “rail-mounted” gun on the windshield that rotates from left to right, and Real Riders wheels. It retails for $25, however, you can get it now.

Other items available are: a set of die-cast cars Disney’s latest Cars 3, The SDCC exclusive set includes Zamak Body (the raw metal foundation), Double Ransburg Body (with a special finish to make it extra glossy), and then the finished product. They will sell for $30 as a set.  Want even more? Another SDCC must have is the Mattel Hot Wheels San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Spider-Mobile. The 1:64-scale Spider-Mobile offers up real rubber tires and hubcaps emblazoned with Spider-Man’s face, and one out of every five Spider-Mobiles will actually be an entirely different vehicle: a Deadpool-customized version called the Dead-Buggy. The Deadpool version will feature hubcabs that have artwork that looks like Deadpool took over and ruined the original packaging. It will sell for $15. Run, don’t walk to this pre-sale.

Make sure you have your 2017 San Diego Comic-Con badge, photo ID, and your order confirmation at pick up. You don’t want to go through all that work and not be able to pick up your swag.

You can pre-order these exclusives today through Mattel’s online shop and pick them up at SDCC July 20th-22nd.
