Interviews: Wonder Woman 2 May Be a Stand Alone Film and Ridley Scott Thinks Alien Is Just As Great As Star Wars
Seeing as how Wonder Woman barely had any connections to the other DC Extended Universe films, Wonder Woman 2 may have even less. In a recent interview with Entertainment, director Patty Jenkins said that Wonder Woman 2 might be a stand-alone film.
“We’re actually making a totally different film with a lot of the same, similar like things that we love, but it’s its own movie completely, so it’s not ‘two’ to us. It’s an entirely new adventure together that we couldn’t be luckier [to do].”
Ridley Scott thinks that Alien should be on the same level as Star Wars and Star Trek. When asked about another installment in the series, he told the Toronto Sun:
“There’s no reason why Alien should now not be on the same level for fans as Star Trek and Star Wars.”
