We play “which superhero would you be” with the cast of Netflix’s Sense8

Recently, Nerdeek had a chance to chat with some of Sense8’s phenomenal cast ahead of the season two premiere on Netflix.  We had a chance to ask Sense8’s Toby Onwumere and Miguel Angel Silvestre.  Toby Onwumere was introduced to us as the new Capheus during the Christmas special this past December, and his obvious chemistry with the rest of the main actors made it easy for audiences to adjust to the different face.  Miguel Angel Silvestre has stolen our hearts since day one with his portrayal of Lito Rodriguez, the famous Mexican actor who risks it all by revealing he is gay.  

While we really enjoyed peppering them with questions about what it’s like to be on the hit show and asking them to spill on set secrets, we also wanted to have a little fun by asking them the question on all of our minds:

“Superheroes are huge right now. What superhero did you want to be (or pretended you were) as a kid and why?”

Toby: Um, The Flash!  The man could vibrate through solid objects.  I think I’ll stop it there.

Miguel: I always liked Hancock, that was one of the superheroes that made me had the most fun.  You know, the one that Will Smith did?  I really love that.  And sometimes, when I’m having so much fun, I say “I can fly, I’m Hancock!”  That’s what I told Toby at the club in Berlin…I said “I can fly!”
