One Thing is For Sure, Supergirl is No Mistake
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
The cast of Supergirl flew into Comic-Con and brought tons of new info with them! We learned about who may or may not be in the coming season, what Kara is struggling with most, not to mention a little about Lena!
Supergirl is based on the DC Comics of the same name, and follows Kara Danvers (aka Kara Zor-el) as she navigates life as a Kryptonian on Earth while simultaneously saving the world. The series stars Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Mechad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood, Chris Wood, and Katie McGrath.
“Kara Danvers was a mistake.”
We learned a little about where Kara will be when the season begins. After Mon-el leaves Earth, Kara is not feeling so great about the human thing.
“Season three starts with Supergirl turning away from pretending to be human.”
This behavior will fit in well with the theme of the season, which was also revealed at the panel.
“The theme of season three is what it means to be human.”
There was also some good news for Cat Grant fans (which, let’s be honest, is everyone)
“Cat Grant will be in 3×01 and will be a recurring character this season.”
More good news for Mon-el fans was also revealed. After much speculation, it seems Mon-el is not truly gone for good.
“Mon-el will return at some point. Where he is is one of the mysteries of the season.”
Looks like we will also be meeting a new villain, who won’t get along with our favorite Luthor.
“Adrian Pasdar is joining the show as a villain conflicting with Lena.”
